“Dude and Honey Vignettes Created in the 90’s”
WHY FLAMINGOS?
With both an Awkward and elegant appearance Flamingos are iconic birds. And, a Group of Flamingos is called a flamboyance.
Dude and Honey are the Epitome of Being Flamboyant!
It all started with six inch high flamingos that I was able to manipulate into shape and dress. And by creating three dimensional vignettes, their story began to take shape: From their Meeting – proposal – adventures – many of which have been based on personal experiences.
My affection for Flamingos commenced with a visit to Lake Bogoria in kenya-1994. The lake looked pink with well over a million Flamingos Feasting on algae and brine shrimp. Can you imagine!
